"Back Here" is the debut single by British pop rock band BBMak. It was written by the three members of the group (Mark Barry, Christian Burns and Stephen McNally) along with songwriter Phil Thornalley. It appears on BBMak's debut studio album, ''Sooner or Later''. "Back Here" was originally released in the UK in 1999, where it made the Top 40 on the UK Singles Chart in August, peaking at number 37.〔(1999 UK Singles Chart info at chartstats.com )〕 The next year, the song was released in the United States and proved more successful, rising to number 13 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in July of that year and remaining in the Top 40 for 24 weeks.〔Whitburn, Joel (2004).
